Dream A Dream is a professional, registered, charitable trust. We are empowering over 43,000 children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds since 1999. Currently, we deliver Life Skills programmes to 8000 children and young people referred from 26 partner NGOs; Train over 300 teachers and adult workers on our Life Skills Model indirectly impacting over 30000 young people and sensitize over 2000 volunteers through innovative engagement programmes. We work on a strong collaborative approach with local charities, corporates, volunteers and a host of national and international strategic partners. Dream A Dream has been a winner of many awards and recognitions including Winner of the Outstanding Annual Report Awards; Amongst 8 Regional Finalists at the Apeejay India Volunteer Awards 2011; Winner of the silver award at the Global Sports Forum Barcelona;Awarded the Football For Hope Award from FIFA to support our Dream Life Skills Thru Sport Program; Runner-up of the Japanese Award for Most Innovative Development Project. Our Vision is empowering children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds by developing life skills and at the same time sensitizing the community through active volunteering leading to a non-discriminatory society where unique differences are appreciated.The Dream Life Skills through Football program runs in partnership with local NGOs and is delivered by professional coaches and Life Skills Facilitators. Their training method “The Dream Way of Working with Children” highlights values like respect for children, progressive ways of getting children to follow instructions, and making learning for children fun, interesting and participatory.
